Crypto ETFs See $3.7bn Net Inflows in April Amid Market Volatility
Global crypto ETFs attracted $3.69 billion in net inflows during April, marking the first month of positive flows this year. Year-to-date inflows now stand at $5.99 billion, the second-highest on record after 2024’s unprecedented $42.33 billion surge.
Total assets under management in crypto ETFs reached $146.27 billion by month-end, just shy of January 2025’s all-time high of $170.94 billion. The figures suggest institutional investors are returning to digital assets despite broader market turbulence.
Traditional markets showed mixed performance, with the S&P 500 declining 0.68% in April while developed ex-U.S. markets gained 4.86%. Emerging markets eked out a 0.88% rise, led by Hungary’s 10.78% surge.
